Welcome to Wessex Narrow Gauge Modellers website.  This is the online home of WNGM and Narrow Gauge South, the south of England’s leading small scale narrow gauge model railway exhibition.

WNGM is pleased to confim that the following layouts owned by group members will be on display at the 009 Society’s 50th Anniversary Exhibition at Statfold Narrow Gauge Railway Museum on the 16th & 17th September.

With over 55 layouts plus trade support and preservation society displays the exhibition promises to be a great event.

The Exhibition is open to 009 Society members only on Saturday 16th but is also open to the public on Sunday 17th September.

Narrow Gauge South 2024:  Wessex Narrow Gauge Modellers hope you enjoyed our 2022 exhibition.  We are pleased to confirm that planning has now started for Narrow Gauge South 2024 which will again be held at Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh.  The provisional date is Saturday 27th April 2024 – hopefully we will see you there!

The group also hosts occasional “MEMBERS DAY” type events, usually in a village hall setting, which have proved popular.
